Bill Clinton gutted Trump in his opening statement today. Bill said “As someone who grew up

Former President Bill Clinton delivered a fiery opening statement today, sharply criticizing Donald Trump over his past association with Jeffrey Epstein. Clinton framed his remarks around his own childhood experiences, saying that growing up in a home affected by domestic abuse shaped how he views crimes involving exploitation and abuse.

“As someone who grew up in a home with domestic abuse,” Clinton stated, “not only would I not have flown on his plane if I had any inkling of what he was doing, I would have turned him in myself and led the call for justice for his crimes, not sweetheart deals.”

The statement quickly drew national attention and reignited debate over Trump’s relationship with Epstein. Critics argue that Trump maintained a close social connection with Epstein for years, attending events and appearing publicly with him despite mounting allegations surrounding the financier’s conduct.

Democrats pointed to Clinton’s comments as a direct challenge to Republican efforts to focus investigations elsewhere. They argued that the hearings have instead renewed scrutiny on Trump’s own judgment and past associations.

Supporters of Trump rejected the criticism, but the exchange intensified political tensions surrounding the Epstein controversy and accountability for powerful figures connected to his social circle.
