The White House confirms he has just been diagnosed with the illness…

On a stormy night, Elena’s life changed forever. Standing outside a luxury mansion, soaked by relentless rain, she held her six-month pregnant belly while staring at a suitcase that had burst open on the driveway. Clothes lay scattered in puddles, a painful reminder that she had just been forced out of the home she once shared with her husband, Marcus.

Only moments earlier, Elena had discovered Marcus in their bedroom with Vanessa, her closest friend. Shocked and heartbroken, she confronted them, hoping for an explanation. Instead, Marcus showed no remorse. He coldly told her not to make a scene, while Vanessa boldly declared that he no longer loved her. When Elena broke down in tears, Marcus placed her suitcase outside and ordered her to leave.

Alone in the storm, Elena made a single phone call.

“Dad, please come get me,” she whispered.

Within minutes, headlights appeared in the distance. What started as one vehicle quickly became a convoy of luxury black cars entering the property. Marcus watched in confusion as several vehicles stopped in front of the mansion.

Then the truth was revealed.

Stepping from the lead car was William Harrington, one of the country’s most powerful real-estate tycoons—and Elena’s father.

Marcus was stunned. Throughout their relationship, Elena had never flaunted her family’s wealth or influence. William quietly assessed the scene, taking in his daughter’s condition and the humiliation she had endured. Without raising his voice, he placed his coat over Elena’s shoulders and gently told her to come home.

Before leaving, Elena looked at Marcus one final time. The sadness was gone. In its place was calm acceptance and disappointment.

Three months later, Marcus learned a devastating truth. Much of his success, including his home, business opportunities, and investments, had been supported by Elena’s family. Once that support disappeared, so did the foundation of his fortune.

By then, Elena was gone—and she was something he could never get back.
