Kai explained that one of the most unusual aspects of her daily life is trying to maintain normal social interactions while being closely monitored by security agents. She described how uncomfortable it can feel when going on dates, noting that the presence of agents nearby—sometimes positioned only a few tables away—can make situations feel awkward and unnatural.
Despite this, she said she has learned to adapt over time. While the adjustment period was difficult, especially during the early months of increased security, she has gradually become more accustomed to the constant presence of protection. According to Kai, the key has been shifting her mindset and focusing less on who is watching and more on enjoying the moment with the people she is with.
She also reflected on how her perspective changed after initially struggling with the lack of privacy. At first, she found it hard to accept being followed everywhere, but she eventually came to understand that the agents’ sole responsibility is to ensure her safety. Recognizing their role helped her feel more comfortable and less distracted by their presence.
Kai said that since her grandfather’s return to the presidency, she has had to further adjust to this reality, learning to balance a public life with personal experiences. Although the situation is not typical for someone her age, she emphasized that she tries to focus on living normally, spending time with friends and family, and not letting security concerns dominate her everyday life.
