In parallel, congressional scrutiny continues into the financial networks that supported Epstein’s operations. During a House Oversight Committee deposition, longtime Epstein accountant Richard Kahn discussed complex transactions and estate matters. Testimony touched on a reported settlement involving a woman who has accused former President Donald Trump of sexual assault—claims Trump has consistently denied and that remain disputed. Legal observers note that such financial records could help clarify how certain arrangements were handled within Epstein’s broader network.
